DON'T GO. SEEK.

"WE DON'T DO FASHION, WE'RE NOT INTERESTED IN TRENDS. INSTEAD, OUR EXHIBITORS CARE ABOUT TIMELESS AND QUALITATIVE DESIGN. THEY ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT SILHOUETTES, FABRIC COMBINATIONS AND SEAM ALLOWANCES. FOR US, CLOTHES ARE ABOUT ATTITUDE, THEY DEFINE OUR LIFESTYLE."
/ SEEK

the second half of my second day in berlin.
as promised, here are the rest of the photos from day two. as much as i enjoyed visiting a trade show as massive as premium, i much preferred the smaller but cooler, younger brother - seek. whilst premium exhibited some amazing brands and endorsed from talented new designers, seek really focused on the  underdog. i know that i 100% want to work within menswear so the majority of this trade show was right up my street and these are the kind of independent labels i hope to work for in the future (hey billionaire boys club, let me come and work for you in new york city).
after all this fashion madness, we headed towards berlin mitte on a mission to find the 'do you read me?' independent magazine & zine shop, which did not disappoint. so many amazing reads, including classics like 'love', 'the gentlewoman' and 'dapper dan' but also ones i had never heard of including 'intern' in which we actually spotted two of our very own lecturers. small world.

tomorrow we will hopefully head to the one and only bread & butter tradeshow, followed by some german sightseeing including the jewish memorial, the egyptian museum and maybe some people watching outside the fashion week tent.

lots of love from berlin
